John and I met in the fall of 2017 at Wake Forest University. Wake is known for one of its application questions being “Give us your Top Ten list".

Here’s ours (in no particular order):

1. Sipping coffee over Premier League soccer

2. Nicole learning to drive a tractor on the farm

3. Giggling over goblets of wine at Colony Grill

4. Eating Chinese food on the floor of our first apartment

5. Screaming Mr. Brightside in a frat basement

6. Cheering for the sunset in Naples

7. John trying desperately to like a Negroni

8. Watching all 9 seasons of Suits

9. Drinking a beer at Zick’s on the quad

10. Getting engaged on the rocks at Fairfield Beach
